Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F40650-03-R-0057 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This is a restricted procurement and NAICS Code is 333912 with a small business size standard of 500. CLIN 0001 Pump, Vacuum. Displacement @ 60Hz 7.9CFM, Peak pumping speed @ 60Hz 6.5CFM, Ultimate vacuum: 6.75 X 10(-2) TORR, GB2 flow +200g/hr, Inlet and Outlet connections: NW25, 2 meter line cord, Voltage: 115V/230V, 1PH, 50/60Hz, Weight 54 lbs, Noise 55db (A), Line cord must be added to order at no charge. Edwards Model XDS10 Dry Vacuum Pump or equal. Quantity: 8 each. Delivery location shall be USAF Warehouse Receiving #1, 1476 Avenue E, Arnold AFB TN 37389-8000. The FOB shall be Arnold AFB TN and the delivery time shall be thirty (30) days after contract award. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (OCT 2000), no addenda to the provision. FAR 52.211- 6, Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999); FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items (JAN 1999). The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, and (2) price. Technical capability is of more importance when compared to price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. The following clauses also apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-- Commercial Items. The place of inspection, acceptance, and FOB is Arnold AFB TN. The contractor shall comply with the clauses incorporated by reference in FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. Technical Data shall be provided according to DFARS 252.222-7015, Technical Data--Commercial Items. The assigned rating for this acquisition is DO-C9.
