Description
United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Mid West Area has a project entitled Repair HVAC Units #3 and #4 Systems. The project is located at the USDA, ARS, National Soil Erosion Laboratory, W. Lafayette, Indiana. This work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other necessary work to perform and complete the following: Upgrading controls for Air Handlers AHU-3 and AHU-4 from pneumatic to DDC, cleansing and rebalancing the units. The period of performance is 90 days. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. A Payment Bonds shall be required. Estimated price range is: Between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The solicitation packages may be requested, free of charge, by mail, fax, or e-amil to : Shive Hattery, Inc., 2103 Eastland Drive, P.O. All requests for a solicitation package must reference IFB No. 5114-3-0900 and the contact name above. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible and qualified sources may submit a bid that will be considered by the agency. A pre-bid site visit will be scheduled and information provided in the solicitation package. This will be the only opportunity to visit the job site prior to submission of bid. The anticipated IFB solicitation package will be available on or about July 16, 2003, with opening date 30 days later.
