- ****For informational purposes, the services performed herein will for be for the NMFS offices located throughout Alaska.****The National Marine Fisheries Services requires offerors to provide technical support services with revelant experience in planning, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), related environmental compliance, and be capable of providing and managing an inter-disciplinary team composed of members of the firm or subcontractors. All work and services will be technically and legally defensible and in full compliance with the NEPA of 1969, as amended (41 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.) and other applicable federal laws and executive orders. Work may include NEPA planning related environmental compliance for projects ranging from site-specific construction or concept plans to state-wide fishery management plans. Required expertise may include, but would not be limited to, the following disciplines: environmental compliance; natural resource management (air quality, plant ecology, geology, paleontology, invasive species, habitat ecology, hydrology, water quality, ecology, wildlife biology, oceanography and fishery science); tourism; visual resources; resource and socio-economics; cultural resources (including anthropology, ethnography and history); facilitation; technical writing and editing; database development and analysis; value analysis; CAD/GIS; graphic design, and document production. An understanding of requirements of Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act; environmental, social, and economic aspects of fisheries management; and specific NEPA requirements such as cumulative effects analysis and government to government coordination is desirable. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) consisting of a base year and options for two additional years. Task Orders will be issued on an as?needed basis with minimum and maximum ordering levels established. A Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation will be available on or about July 11, 2003, through the Government's website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted. It is incumbent upon interested parties to register at the solicitation's site for notification and to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
