Description
Comments are requested on the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) for an OMB Circular A-76 Study of the management and administration of training functions of formal and informal training, education, developmental, and other learning assignments; application of acquired knowledge, skills, and experience to workforce responsibilities; and use as a tool to recruit and maintain a talented, diverse, and versatile workforce. The DRAFT PWS does not provide for the teaching of seminars or training courses. The functions are currently being performance by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), at the following fifteen (15) DOE sites: Oakland, CA, Albuquerque, NM, Miamisburg, OH, Germantown, MD, Pittsburgh, PA, New Orleans, LA, Aiken, SC, Golden, CO, Oak Ridge, TN, Idaho Falls, ID. Richland, WA, Chicago, IL. Las Vegas, NV, Washington, D.C., and Upton, N.Y. The principle point office is The Office of Training and Human Resources, Washington, DC. Refer to the Special Notice, posted in Federal Business Opportunities on July 1, 2003, under solicitation number DOE-SNOTE-30701-001. The solicitation number is updated and all reference should be DE-RP01-03ME09853. This is a DRAFT PWS and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a FORMAL RFP, RFQ, or contract. The attached DRAFT PWS is available for download from this site which is the official point of notification to the public. This synopsis is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. This DRAFT PWS is open for comment until 11:59 P.M., Eastern Daylight Time, July 18, 2003. All comments must be submitted only by e-mail as an attachment to Benjamin.lardizabal@hq.doe.gov. All e-mailed responses must provide the return e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, and facsimile (fax) number in the body of the response. Telephone responses will not be accepted. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. It is also the responsibility of the respondent to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis, solicitation, or other related documents.
