- Description
- This is a commercial item acquisition. The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is seeking bids for its upright granite headstones (Type W1) (13x42x4) requirements, delivered F.o.b. Origin, Contractors Facility, covering the period October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2004 (base period), with three 1-year options to extend the term of the contract(s) through September 30, 2007. An estimated 9,000 headstones will be acquired during the life of the contract(s). This acquisition is a total (100%) set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAIC) 327991 and a size standard of 500 employees is applicable to this acquisition. All responsible small business sources are invited to submit bids.=20 Requests for hard copy solicitations must be in writing to Chief, Centralized Contracting Division, and accompanied by a certified check or money order in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) (non-refundable) payable to =93U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.=94 Please reference Solicitation No. IFB 786-4-04 on remittance. Telephone and fax requests will not be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be issued via the ordinary mails on or about July 14, 2003.
