Description: Work consists of continuing mechanical habitat management practices which maintain favorable Red-Cockaded Woodpecker (RCW) habitat at the Dare County Bombing Range, North Carolina; and to conduct a combination of aerial and ground surveys to fulfill the 5-year Range-wide survey as outlined in the RCW management plan. All work shall be in compliance with the Statement of Work. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. This action will be a small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310 with a small business size standard of $6M. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 02 July 2003 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available.
