Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work in accordance with the drawings, specified herein, to fully complete the project titles Mobile Tail Enclosure Building 90032. Project description: Pre engineered metal movable tail enclosures on steel rails added to the existing hangar. Enclosures shall be structurally self-supporting. Enclosures shall consist of two halves that roll together to enclose exposed tail section of C-130 aircraft. Includes exterior metal skin, 5-ton hoist, lighting system, electrical system, and extension of existing fire suppression system. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a ?straddle bid?. Funding is expected to be available for award in FY 03, or first quarter of FY04.
