Description

NA DESC: 1005-00-726-6835, Part Number 7266835, The item to procure is a Body assembly used on the .50 Cal Machine Gun. Assembly consists of: Body 7266834; (2) Guide 6009283; (2) Rivet 5009283; (2) Depressor 6009712. Material is steel or malleable cast iro n body and steel depressors. Approximately 10 inches long by 1 1/2 inches in diameter, heat treat and phosphate coating required. Requirements are 1,800 AY, Body Assembly Barrel and will include a 100 percent option. Solicitation is issued as a Small Bu siness Set-Aside, FOB is Destination. For use on the M2 Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is 18 July 2003 and the above listed response date is only an estimate. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, the refore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the abo ve internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and r esult in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will be provided via the internet, along with the solicitation. Note 26.
