Description: NA Work consists of construction of a three lane highway bridge with a length of approximately 56 meters, spanning the Levisa Fork in Grundy, VA. Work will also include construction of a 6 meter wide paved connector road, approximately 110 meters in length. The cost range of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation documents will be available July 17, 2003. There will be no charge for solicitation documents. Delivery shall be completed within 420 calendar days after date of receipt o f notice to proceed. This procurement is open to all businesses regardless of size. Negotiations are in progress for remaining parcels of real estate to construct the Grundy Access Bridge. Bids cannot be received until the real estate has been acquired. For this reason, date for receipt of bids MAY be extended by amendment to the solicitation. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
