Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Electrical Distribution System Rehabilitation project located at Edenton National Fish Hatchery in Edenton, NC. Work includes a Base Bid plus Bid Additives for the replacement of all overhead primary wiring and all pole mounted transformers serving ponds 1-23, pump house, two fish holding houses and storage buildings with underground primary wiring and new pad mounted transformers. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 238210. The size standard is $12.0 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 07/17/03, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 08/29/03. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401813B011. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Registration with the Fish and Wildlife Service for Electronic Commerce (EC) at the National Business Center (NBC) Web site will also be required. Prospective offeror's must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award.
