Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about July 24, 2003. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The NAICS code is 236220. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitations and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. The work of this contract consists of general construction at the Battery Weed Guardhouse including: Cleaning and painting cast iron stair; Replacement of approximately 100 square feet deteriorated wood flooring on the second floor; Replacement of three (3) custom wood doors, two with transom windows, on the first floor; Replacement of eight (8) custom wood double hung windows on the first floor to match existing second floor windows. The location of the work to be performed is Battery Weed, Fort Wadsworth, Gateway National Recreation Area, Staten Island Unit, Staten Island, New York, 10305.
