Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for Magnetic Oxide Pigment. Vendors are to provide the certificate of analysis or certificate of conformance and results of inspection for each batch or lot in the shipment delivered to the BEP. Receipt of the Shipment by the BEP is contingent upon the presence of the certificate of analysis or certificate of conformance and results of inspection. Vendors who have not provided this material previously to the Bureau will require acceptability through material sample prior to award. BEP Specification PG: BIO-1E dated May 3, 2000. BEP specification is available upon request. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-03-0527. The total quantity is 25,000 pounds. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to The Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 3201 Pennsy Drive, Landover MD 20785. Delivery is requested within 30 days after receipt of order. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be lowest price technically acceptable. Technically acceptability is based on meeting requirements of BEP Specification PG: BIO-1E, dated May 3, 2003. All interested businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due July10, 2003.. Quotations may be faxed to Diane Rollins at (202) 874-3135 or transmitted via e-mail to diane.rollins@bep.treas.gov
