- THIS PROJECT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED SMALL BUSINESS HUBZONE CONCERNS. The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Shore Side Detachment (SSD), Two Auction Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. The project work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials and transportation for the construction of a new concrete paved buoy storage area of approximately 1,200 square yards and asphalt paved driveway areas of approximately 1,500 square yards; installation of steel buoy rack storage system, including excavation, fill, compaction and all other incidental work. Also included in this project is the expansion of the existing communication center building, which will consist of a single story concrete block addition with metal roof on spread footing foundations. The building expansion will also include architectural finishes, electrical, communications and A/C systems. No plumbing work will be required. The estimated price range is between $250,000.00 - $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990-, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $28.5 million. Bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds are required. Contract performance time is estimated at one hundred and twenty (120) days. Bid Opening Date is August 20, 2003, at 2:00 pm.
