Description

The Contractor shall provide labor and material to renovate existing bathroom and upgrade existing break room, locker room and office, located at the USDA, ARS, Bldg 203, BARC-East in Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work, drawings, and specifications. All work is to be completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for July 24, 2003, 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of Bldg 003, Beltsville, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as a Hubzone set-aside, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13?Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about July 17, 2003. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations will be due August 18, 2003. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits a quotation with the lowest overall cost to the Government. Anticipated award date is August 25, 2003.
