Description
***Corrected Address: The USDA, ARS, Mid South Area, Tucson, Arizona, has a requirement for a Pyrosequencing, Inc. Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) and accessories or equal. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. IFB 2003-4431-024 is being issued as an Invitation for Bid. Offerors are to provide pricing for the following: (1) 1ea - Item No. 60-0140, PSQ 96MA System SNP/SQA; this system allow for 96 simultaneous determinations of samples consisting of immobilized, single stranded DNA with annealed sequencing primers, system include the instrument, system control (flat screen monitor and PC-based workstation) and software for nucleic acid analysis, onsite installation of the PSQ 96MA an d training of up to 3 people and 1 year warranty (labor, parts and travel). (2) 1 ea. Item No. 60-0208, Vacuum Prep Worktable; (3) 1 ea. Item No. 45-0015, PSQ 96 Start-up Package, Vacuum Prep (SNP), (4) 1ea. Item No. 60-0112, Vacuum Sample Prep Tool and (5) Reagents to perform 10,000 assays. Delivery of the equipment shall be delivered to USDA, ARS, c/o Department of Plant Pathology, University of Arizona, 1140 East South Campus Drive, Forbes 204, Tucson, Arizona 85721 and the time of delivery shall be coordinated with the location after receipt of the contract. Price should reflect FOB Destination. Price will include everything identified above. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. These clauses maybe viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far/ Quotations will be evaluated on price, past performance, and proof of experience with this kind of equipment. Offers should include a list of at least four references to include company name, point of contact, phone number and fax number. References should reflect similar type of work or equipment purchases. Offers to include a commercial warranty for equipment. Offer must include a 30 calendar day acceptance period. Offerors are to be received not later than August 5, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the USDA, ARS, MSA, Contracting Office, 141 Experiment Station Road, P. O.
