- Project Number 020022 and 030003. Solicitation Number F33601-03-R-0051. NOTE: This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988, Public Law 100-656 (15 U.S.C. 644 note). The scope of this project consists of providing all labor, equipment, appliances, devices, and materials; performing all removals and miscellaneous work; and performing all operations necessary to complete the following: The work includes providing an air conditioning system, including chillers, air handler units, ductwork, controls, piping, etc. in the high-bay hangar area and adjacent secure support vault rooms (approximately 18,000 SF). Additionally, the electrical distribution systems, including transformers, receptacles, conduit, and wiring shall be configured in these same area to provide separate services into special access secure rooms. Due to security procedures, government personnel will escort the workers at all times. The estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The NAICS Code is 23511. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/CONCERNS: Facility 34023 is a National Air Intelligence Center facility that must remain operational during the renovation. This project involves specialized climate control and security requirements. Critical work requirements may result in the disruption on renovation work. The contractor must have extensive experience and flexibility in the management of multi-disciplined and phased projects in order to successfully complete this effort. Failure to supervise and coordinate the different trades in a timely manner will not be acceptable as it would adversely impact the operations of this organization. This project will be subject to a very tight construction schedule and requires close coordination between disciplines. Funds for Project Number 02-0022 are not presently available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Period of performance 200 days. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 7. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation. 8. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. Bids prepared by Debarred, Suspended or otherwise ineligible contractors are at the risk and expense of the contractor.
