- Description
- This publication serves as a notice of intent to organize a 4 weeks training course in Washington DC which will focus on “Microfinance and Agricultural Marketing”. This custom made training will be provided to eleven participants from two local NGOs (PRIDE/Finance & ACA) involved in microfinance/micro enterprise and agricultural activities in Guinea. The topics to be covered during the training include but are not limited to: Strategic planning for microfinance organizations, Principles of good governance, Financial management for microfinance organizations, Agricultural marketing tools and techniques, Advertising techniques and applications to agricultural marketing. In addition, the training should include field visits to microfinance institutions as well as to agricultural marketing companies in the U.S. Contractor shall provide training course as well as logistical support(Travel arrangements, lodging, etc…) and administrative arrangements. Tentative period of performance is July, 2003. The solicitation number is 675-03-07 and will be issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) on or about May 5, 2003.
