Description

This publication serves as a notice to procure on a sole source basis to Motorola for the following items: Quantity of (1) one qty for PDR3500 Port Repeater VHF R1 (P2066); (1) one qty Duplexer for PDR3500 (Q245); (1) one qty Repeater Operation (Q501); (1) one qty Wire Line Remote Center, PDR (Q502); (1) one qty Modem, 9.6 KBPS, PDR 3500 (Q504); (1) one qty Conv Astro CAI Operation (Q806); (1) one qty Programming Cable (3080369E31). Items contained in this solicitation are for delivery FOB destination Youngstown ARS; Vienna OH 44473. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 421690 with a standard size of 500 employees. Registration in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required (DFARS 252.204-7004). Commercial Items (Jul 2002) and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate (Apr 2003) are applicable. Clauses FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2002), FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Apr 2003) with DOD Deviation, and DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (Apr 2003, to include DFARS 252.225-7001 (Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program) in paragraph (b).
