- **THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRERTY.** Description The 11th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a contractor to repair the roof of Facility 1302 on Bolling AFB, D.C. This will be a competitive acquisition resticted to certified HUBZone contractors for the repair and alteration work associated with the project entitled Repair Roof, Facility 1302, Bolling AFB, D.C. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, transportation, supervision and other services necessary to complete all associated work. Work includes but is not limited to removal of existing roof membrane and installation of new roofing system. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement on terms of physical characteristics and estimated range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System code is 243312 with the size standard being $24.0 million. The period of performance period for this requirement is 225 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors? past and present performance history is significantly more important than price. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED HUBZONE CONTRACTORS. The solicitation and specifications will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at: http://www.eps.gov, on or about 03 Jul 2003. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizzOpps web site frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertinent to the solicitation. Also, each prospective offeror interested in submitting a proposal on this RFP must register by e-mail to: michael.kelly@bolling.af.mil in order to be placed on the source list. Include company name, address, telephone/fax numbers point-of-contact and e-mail address. Offerors registering on the source list shall not conclude that they will receive a paper copy of the solicitation , as no paper copies will be issued. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. The closing date of this solicitation is planned to be on or about 03 Aug 2003. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. Registration may be obtained at the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov/. SPECIAL NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Funds are not currently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payment under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the receipt of proposal(s), with no obligation to the offeror by the Government in accordance with FAR 52.232-18 "Availability of Funds" Apr 1984.
