Description

Project No. ZNRE 02-1095A-F, Upgrade Security at Entry Control Points (East, South, Fussa, Terminal, West and Supply Gates), Yokota Air Base. This project is a force protection project to enhance security for entry control points, Fussa Gate, Terminal Gate, West Gate, Supply Gate, and East Gate. It is mainly civil work with some architectural, mechanical, and electrical works. The Specifications call for 24 hour operation Sunday through Monday, and three phasing are required. This project includes Contractor Furnished U.S. Materials. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. Site Orientation is scheduled for 14 May 03, 0900 hrs, Bldg 620, Yokota Air Base, Japan. Please notify the Contracting Office if you wish to participate in the Site Orientation. All offerors are encouraged to participate in this scheduled tour. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (28-APR-2003). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 07-JUL-2003.
