- PR YPT03177000010 NSN: 8455-01-389-3509, Insignia, Embroidred, Grade, Enlisted Personnel, Air force, Type VIII Large Size 1, Desert, Style 3 Man's 4 inch, Staff Sergeant, Class 9 Overedge Stitching required, Stitch count 4897 Each. Quantity 113,462 pairs, Destinations: Phoenix, AZ and New Cumberland, PA. Twelve (12) deliveries beginning 150 days after date of award. In accordance with MIL-DTL-14651A dated 22 October 2001. In accordance with drawings B-3-47A and B-3-42B dated 22 April 1998 and Cartoon B-3-47A-2 dated March 7, 1994. Five (5) pairs First Articles Samples required 60 days after date of award. Two (2) 100% options required. Evaluation Factor: Low Price. Solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside. Berry Amendment Applies. Solicitation will include end item specification. Solicitation will be available on the procurement gateway on or around July 24, 2003. Contractor supplies all materials. Contractor must be CCR Registered and have a government cage code. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment impose restrictions on the DoDs acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after (July 24, 2003). From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs.
