- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Climatic Data Center, has a requirement for the on-site professional services of a Registered Nurse to plan and execute a comprehensive occupational health program for the Occupational Health Unit at the Federal Complex, 151 Patton Ave., Asheville, NC. The nurse shall also provide first aid and health maintenance services, including but not limited to: assistance to the medical doctor in performance of scheduled and unscheduled medical examinations; maintenance of comprehensive medical records and patient intake logs; annual inoculations against flu; special examinations of employees upon request of management (audiometer or pulmonary exams); and, all first aid measures to minimize loss of employee work time and alleviate pain and suffering. The contractor shall provide these services 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, regular Federal holidays excluded. The contractor shall provide nurses who are licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina. This contract will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed Price type contract that will consist of a 12-month base year and four (4) 12-month option years which may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This action is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621399 with a small business size standard of $5.0 million. The solicitation will be released on or about July 28, 2003.
