- Description
- The Office of Public Health and Science (OPHS), Office of Minority Health (OMH), through the Program Support Center (PSC), intends to award a six month sole source simplified acquisition to the Nebraska Department of Health, Office of Minority Health. The purpose of this simplified acquisition is to conduct and complete an on-going statewide Minority Behavior Risk Factor Survey project to reach two counties (Douglas and Thurston) with five or more percent of the population being minorities and where no health needs survey has previous been conducted. Closing date for this announcement is July 23, 2003. The proposed simplified acquisition action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Contractors may forward capability statements to the referenced address within 15 days after the date of publication of this Notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
