- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SubPart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is unrestricted. This requirement is advertised as intent to award a Sole source contract to EDL Displays Inc. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. The Government intends to award one (1) CLIN for 10 Kits (3 flat panels per Kit) of the EDL Model 3018 with integrated x-terminal. . The Flat Panel Display must be an 18.1" diagonal LCD, .30mm dot pitch with resolutions of 1280 x 1024. The displays must be a rugged rack or panel mountable enclosure, VESA DPMS compliant, VESA DDC1/2 plug and play compliant, mechanically, electrically and software compatible/integrated in the Navy E6-B, full range backlight dimming, backlight stabilization and temperature management and must accept digital or analog RGB at DVI-I connector, S-video or composite video at DIN or RCA connector. Quotations that do not include prices for all Requirements will not be considered. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Items (all offerors shall included a completed copy of this provision with their proposal); FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, in paragraph (b) the following clause(s) apply; FAR 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.232-33. Included are DFARS 252.204-7004, 252.225-7002 and 252.212-7001 (in para. B), the following clause(s) apply: FAR 252.225-7001.
