Description

NA The Army requires a firm fixed price construction contract for furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with ??????Replace HVAC, Bldg. 1221 and 1279 at Hunter Army Airfield, GA.?????? This work is to be co mpleted in strict accordance with specifications and drawings, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract and as ordered by the Contracting Officer. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Remove and dispose of existing air handling units, chilled/hot water piping, steam supply piping, pumping systems, condensate return piping, unit heaters, and associated HVAC controls as indicated. 2. Provide and install chilled/hot water piping, steam supply piping, pumping systems, co ndensate return piping, unit heaters, and associated HVAC controls as indicated. 3. Provide and install air handling units and connect to existing ductwork as indicated. 4. Replace existing HVAC control system with electronic or electric components. 5. Rec onnect to existing electrical service and provide new electrical service as applicable. 6. Clean existing ductwork and associated air devices. 7. Test and balance new heating/cooling system, ductwork and diffusers in accordance with specifications. The NAI CS Code is 23511 and the size standard is $11.5M. Magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation will be issued unrestricted and subject to availability of funds. A definite response date or date for receipt of bids has not been determined at thi s time. The best estimate date of the solicitation is on or about 28 July 2003.
