Description

NA The Product Manager, Physical Security Equipment (PM-PSE) plans to increase the ceiling of the current High Value Asset Security Cage (HVASC) Contract DAAB15-00-D-1004 with Matthews Manufacturing, Incorporated. The current contract was executed to fufill the PM recurring cage requirements and is valid until 29 March 2005. PM-PSE plans to use its existing contract in support of the Army Access Control Point (ACP) package based on the VCSA guidance to establish appropriate measures to control access to Army installations Worldwide. The acquisition of HVASC units is part of the ACP requirements package, however, the quantity of cages required will exceed the current contract ceiling. A follow-on contract for the recurring requirements is anticipated and wil l be awarded on a fully competitive basis. The statutory authority for Other Than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source.
