- Description
- The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to furnish all materials, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to construct a new restroom facility and well pump house at the Jack's Branch Picnic Area, located at milepost 377.8 on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Lawrence County, Tennessee. The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of demolishing the old structure (including the concrete slab) and building a new facility. This procurement will be issued as an Invitation for Bids. The IFB will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center. Bid documents will be made available in HTML, TIFF and Adobe PDF formats. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing http://ideasec.nbc.gov site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notifications will be sent. Procurement is being conducted under full and open competition procedures under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The anticipated range of this project is expected to be between $25,000 and $100,000 with a period of performance of 120 calendar days for all onsite work following the Notice to Proceed. Should any contract result from this solicitation the contractor shall be required to provide a Performance Bond (SF-25) and Payment Bond (SF-25A) equal to 100 percent of the award amount. The contractor shall also be required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance. Solicitation will be issued on or about July 28, 2003.
