- Description
- A- Market Survey/Sources Sought. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Acquisition Department, (FISC Norfolk), is conducting a market survey seeking sources interested in providing support to the Navy Personnel Command?s Navy Personnel Research, Studies and Technology Department in the research, design, development, update, testing, maintenance, and integration of systems to manage all aspects of a Sailor?s career ? from his initial selection and classification to his last assignment before retirement. Contractor tasks include: 1) The research and development of an integrated system architecture capable to aid individual Sailors in career decisions, and to manage the distribution and assignment process and their supporting databases. 2) The development, maintenance, testing, updating, and transitioning to operational use of related personnel software components of the integrated system, such as those supporting the selection/classification and subsequent re-classification of Sailors, personnel auction mechanisms, intelligent agents, optimization, career planning tools, etc. This is a sources sought synopsis to identify prospective sources and does not commit FISC Norfolk to issue a solicitation or make an award. No solicitation document exists at this time. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in FEDBIZOPPS. It is the potential offeror?s responsibility to monitor the site for release of any future solicitation or synopsis. Offerors having the capability to accomplish this work are invited to provide information regarding your company to the Contract Specialist, Dawn Sunkins, at dawn.sunkins@navy.mil or fax number (757) 443-1424, no later than 4PM EST 11 July 2003. Company Information shall include point of contact, business size and disadvantaged, 8(a), Hubzone information. Any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought.
