Description

SHIELDED HOLDER OF ELECTRONICS (SHOE) Kits The ACC Contracting Squadron/LGCA intends to award a purchase order, to Jaycor, Inc under than other than full and open competition, for the procurement of Shielded Holder of Electronics (SHOE) Kit , 18 EACH, with One Year Warranty on materials and workmanship. Warranty to commence upon date of shipment to unit or six months following delivery by contractor, whichever is earlier. Prototype for the SHOE was developed under Contract Number DSWA01-96-C-0176 with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to meet the same MIL-STD 2169B requirements for the HEMP-hardened Miltope Computer. Currently there is only one known responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties must respond in writing to the ACC Contracting Squadron/LGCA, Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command, 130 Douglas Street, Suite 401, Langley AFB, VA 23665-2791 or by facsimile (757)764-9773 to Lois Nicholson or e-mail to Lois.Nicholson@Langley.AF.MIL with information concerning the procurement. The announcement is not a request for competitive proposals, however all proposals received by the date identified above will be considered by the Government. Responses must be received within 10 days of this posted notice by 9 May 2003. Responses must include written document documentation providing conclusive evidence that the proposed shoes will meet the government needs. If no response is received within 10 days of this posted notice, the procurement will proceed under other than full and open competition described herein.
