- Description
- Air Combat Command (ACC) Contracting Squadron intends to issue a Request for Proposals for Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Fixed Mooring System Site Modifications. This effort will involve modification of existing fixed mooring system sites to a configuration that will support 420K aerostat/L-88 radar operations. The contract will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a guarantee of one site and potential for six sites total. This solicitation is a full and open competition. The SIC code is 3441, with a size standard 500 employees. This will be a firm fixed price supply contract. The anticipated release date for the RFP is 2 APR 99, with a due date of 5 May 99. The RFP will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System website at http://www.eps.gov. The RFP can be accessed by following links on the EPS website to: Air Force, Air Combat Command, ACC CONS, TARS Fixed Mooring System Site Modifications. Telephonic or written requests for this RFP will not be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents Interested parties should submit their company names, mailing address, point of contact, phone number, email address, and business status (large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, small women owned business, etc.) to MSgt Jackson at the email address below for inclusion on the official bidder_s mailing list (BML).
