Description
The ACC Contracting Squadron/LGCA intends to award a purchase order, to Miltope Corporation under other than full and open competition, for the procurement of 5 EA: TIC-2000 RUGGED COMPUTER, MILTOP P/N 712014-1, Full 3-year warranty. Requires MIL-STED-2169B HEMP hardening, requires Windows 95 and MS-DOS 6.22 S/W to support Universal Terminal Emulator Plus (UTEPlus) 5.1A mission software. Requires processor speed of 166 MHz to support UTEPlus S/W, upgradeable to 400 MHz. RAM: 64 MB. Storage: High capacity hard drive, 1.4 MB floppy and 24X CD-ROM. Power: Both 115-vac, 47-63 Hz as well as 20-33 vdc Keyboard: Spill proof, weatherproof. Ports: Minimum of 2 that must be able to operate simultaneously-full duplex, serial. Port speed: 75, 150, 300,600,1200, 2400, 4800, 9600 bps. Asynchronous and Synchronous (mode/protocol operator selectable); RS-232/MIL-STD-188C Serial 1 stop bit, 7/8 data bits, 1 parity bit, 1/2 stop bits. Signal ground, active signals: DTR, DSR, RTS, CTS, TD TC, ST, DCD, RD AND RC. Currently there is only one known responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Responses must be received no later than 26 Aug 2002. Responses must include written documentation providing conclusive evidence that the proposed systems will meet the government needs. If no responses are received within 10 days from the date of this posted notice, the procurement will proceed under other than full and open competition described herein. All responsible sources may submit responses to this notice of proposed sole source contract action. Responses received shall be processed in accordance with Air Force FAR Supplement Subpart 5305.204-90.
