Description
This is a Market Research, Sources Sought synopsis seeking names of potential offerors who have the skills, experience, expertise, knowledge required to provide Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Maintenance on different types of uninterruptible power supplies (Rotary and Static) ( UPS), UPS systems, Flywheels, batteries, Automatic Transfer Switches, and Modular Integrated Mobile Power Systems (MIMPS) for Air Force (AF), Department of Defense (DOD), and other government agencies, worldwide. This equipment is manufactured by numerous U.S. and other countries? manufacturers. The UPS/UPS systems range in size from 8 kVA to 1000 kVA, both single or 3-phase, in single or multi-module UPS system configurations. UPS systems may include one or more of the following accessories: bypass control cabinets, static switch, and module bypass cabinets. At some sites that have many UPS systems to be maintained, the contractor will be required to provide either a 40 hour or 20 hour/week on-site support maintenance technician. The Air Force will acquire this maintenance through a 5-year ID/IQ contract using FAR Part 15, DFARS Part 15, AFFARS Part 15, and AFMCFARS Part 15 Source Selection Procedures. It is intended that the contract will be awarded under Firm Fixed Price and Fixed Price Pricing arrangements with Time and Material line items to accommodate unscheduled emergency maintenance and Cost Reimbursable, No Fee line items for travel and subsistence. Potential offerors are requested to provide a summary (including company brochures) of the capabilities they have which will allow them to provide maintenance for the aforementioned equipment. Any information which is indicative of the offeror?s capabilities to successfully perform this effort will be accepted. Submittals furnished will not be returned to the sender. The government does not intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Release or distribution of your response will be approved by the contracting officer. ALL SOURCES MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE. INFORMATION ON REGISTRATION MAY BE OBTAINED VIA THE INTERNET AT www.ccr.gov. Interested parties are requested to submit three copies of the aforementioned summary of capabilities to Mercedes Ocana, 6050 Gum Lane, Bldg 1215, Hill AFB UT 84056-5825 no later than 10 days after publication of this notice or e-mail to mercedes.ocana@hill.af.mil.
