- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit request for proposal/quote, and award a Sole Source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Lanier Healthcare, 5430 Metric Place, Suite 200, Norcross, GA 30092, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, for the Cquence Voice X-change Platform (VXP) system. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333313. Size Standard of 1000. The reference number is FM282331680586, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The requirement is for ALL NEW PARTS. No USED OR REFURBISH. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide a complete operational dictation/transcription system. The contractor shall follow all installation, state, and national electric code requirements during the installation under this contract. The following work shall be performed as a minimum: A. REPLACE THE EXISTING RADIOLOGY/PATHOLOGY DICTATION/TRANSCRIPTION EQUIPMENT WITH EQUIPMENT THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE PRESENT MEDICAL RECORDS DICTATION EQUIPMENT AT EGLIN HOSPITAL, EGLIN AFB, FLORIDA. B. POSSESS THE NECESSARY PROPRIETARY TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND REQUIRED PARTS ESSENTIAL FOR EFFICIENT EQUIPMENT PERFORMANCE. THE LANIER VOICE XCHANGE PLATFORM WITH A DIGITAL INPUT SERVER IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE PRESENT DICTATION/TRANSCRIPTION EQUIPMENT. THIS NEW DICTATION EQUIPMENT WILL SUPPORT BOTH RADIOLOGY /PATHOLOGY DICTATION FROM THE SAME SERVER. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING RADIOLOGY/PATHOLOGY DICTATION/TRANSCRIPTION IN LINE WITH THE PRESENT MEDICAL RECORD TRANSCRIPTION SYSTEM. THIS NEW SYSTEM WILL SUPPORT AN INTERNET HOSTED OR NETWORK VOICE DELIVERY CAPABILITY TO THE TRANSCRIPTIONIST PC WORKSTATION. THIS NEW SYSTEM WITH SUPPORT DICTATION VOICE CAPTURE UTILIZING A DIGITAL DICTATE STATION WITH BAR CODE SCANNERS FOR ELECTRONIC PATIENT DEMOGRAPHIC INPUT. THIS NEW SYSTEM WILL PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR FUTURE EXPANSION PROJECTS THAT MAY INCLUDE A WEB-ENABLE SPEECH RECOGNITION APPLICATION, DOCUMENT ROUTING, DOCUMENT DELIVERY SYSTEM, TEXT TRANSCRIPTION AND PDA APPLICATIONS. C. DELIVERY OF THE SYSTEM WILL BE 30 DAYS AFTER CONTRACT AWARD AND SHALL BE FULLY OPERATIONAL 60 DAYS AFTER DELIVERY. D. The contractor will be responsible for all damage to the facility caused during the execution of work. Damage shall be repaired to original condition at the contractor’s expense as approved by the contracting officer. These items are to be delivered FOB Destination to Eglin AFB, Florida.
