- Description
- This is a requirement for the overhaul of F-15 Air Pressure Regulator & C-130 Regulating Valve. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the below listed regulators. A firm fixed price Requirements type contract with four option years is contemplated. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul, NSN 1660-00-123-9587; P/N: 898910-4-1; Air Pressure Regulator, F-15 aircraft; Basic Year Qty: 75 each; Option I Qty: 75 each; Option II Qty: 75 each; Option III Qty: 75 each; Option IV Qty: 75 each; Item 0002: Overhaul, NSN 4810-01-004-5634TP, P/N: 3213722-2-1 and/or 4810-01-157-2583TP, P/N 3213722-5-1; Returned as; NSN 4810-01-157-2583TP; P/N 3213722-5-1; Regulating Valve, C-130 aircraft; Basic Year Qty: 125 each;Option I Qty; 125 each; Option II Qty; 125 each; Option III Qty; 125 each;Option IV Qty; 125 each. Item 0003: Over and Above Work; Item 0004: Data IAW DD1423s. Deliveries are to be 15 each per month 30 days after receipt of the order and reparables. Ship to is Tinker AFB, OK. Qualification requirements apply. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 24 Jul 2003. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
