Description

Project No. ZNRE 95-0041A1, Repair HVAC System 334, Yokota Air Base. Work on this project includes but is not limited to: Mechanical Work (Asbestos abatement for existing & new ceiling holes; Relocate existing equipment & tools to new location; Replace existing window A/C & accessories with new packaged A/C; Replace existing exhaust dust collector duct & accessories with new; Install new compressed air line & accessories; Replace existing exterior flexible connection of cyclone dust collector with new; Replace existing coating with new and repair concrete floor) and Electrical Work (Replace existing underground primary feeder for the building 334 with new; Replace existing transformer station, associated conduits and wiring with new; Replace existing wall receptacle outlets, switches, associated conduits and wiring with new; Install new A/C control system, associated conduits and wiring; Replace existing exhaust fan control panelboard, associated conduits and wiring with new; Replace existing panelboard?s doors and circuit breakers with new; Replace existing circuitry for equipment & tools with new.) Performance Period: 180 calendar days. Site Orientation is scheduled for 22 Jul 03, from 1330, Bldg 620, Yokota Air Base, Japan. Please notify the Point of Contact if you wish to participate in the Site Orientation. All offerors are highly encouraged to participate in this scheduled tour. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation before or after the closing date. NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES, WHICH ARE NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
