Description

The contractor shall provide, unless otherwise specified, all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation as necessary to provide repairs to weapons magazines. The work includes but not limited to the Lead paint removal and re-painting of existing steel doors, walls, and vents; Demolition of existing and replacement with new reinforced concrete blast walls, end walls, and wing walls; Miscellaneous steel door repairs including lube of hinges, new weather-stripping, and replacing missing hardware; Replacement of fill over roofs of magazines with select backfill, including sheet membrane, loam and seed; Concrete epoxy injection crack repairs to walls and floors; Removing existing and furnish and install new secondary grounding girdle and other incidental related work. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTORS REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT. OFFERORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER MAY RENDER THE FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Registration can be accomplished on www.ccr.com. The proposed contract is considered for a 100% HUB Zone set-aside. Interested HUB Zone concerns that meet the criteria must indicate their interest by submitting evidence of their capability to perform (three references with names, phone and contract numbers) within 15 days of this notice. If adequate interest is not received within the time specified, the contract will be issued as unrestricted subject to FAR 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUB Zone Small Business Concerns. Replies to this notice are requested for NAICS Code 236210, Industrial Building Construction. Bids received from all responsible sources shall be considered. The response date shown is an estimated date. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet and the official Plan Holder's list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the Internet site. All prospective bidders must register as plan-holders on the Internet EBS web site for this project. Each company must indicate it's name, address, phone number, and E-mail address; identify whether the firm is Prime, Sub or Supplier, and indicate whether firm is a Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Large Business or if firm is a Woman-owned Business. Plan Centers are also required to register. It is therefore the Contractor's responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to solicitation's plans and specifications.
