Description

Vandenberg Air Force Base has a requirement for school bus service. School Bus Service consist of school bus with driver, to transport military dependent students from Vandenberg Military Family Housing to and from, Vandenberg Middle School and Los Padre Elementary School. The contract period of performance is two month basic period from 13 Aug 03 to 30 Sep 03, and four option years from 1 Oct 03 – 31 Jul 07. There are approximately 460 students during the regular session and approximately 60-70 students in the summer. Contractor must take the initiative in scheduling bus routes, with location and times of arrival and departure. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code for this project is 48541, and the small business standard size is $5.0M. Anticipated date for issuance of RFP is 23 May 03.
