- **Correction** The correct bid date is July 29, 2003. The USDA, ARS, Mid South Area, Forage-Animal Production Research Unit, Lexington, Kentucky has a requirement for a Lancer Laboratory Glassware Washer/Decontaminator or equal. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. IFB 2003-4431-031 is being issued as an Invitation for Bid. Offerors are to provide pricing for the following: (1) 1ea - Lancer Catalog No. 1300 UP, Laboratory Glassware Washer/Decontaminator: 3 independent and adjustable wash levels, 40 microprocessor controlled programs, self diagnostic software, heated forced air drying, 304L stainless steel construction, insulated chamber of quiet operation, built in detergent and acid neutralizer pumps for labor free dosing, triple filter system to protect circulation pump, racks that are interchangeable between all levels, chamber dimension: 25.25"H x 19.25"W x 19.75"D, external dimension: 57.75"H x 26"W x 27.25"W. (2) 1 ea., Catalog No. PST, Basic Basket, (3) 1ea., Catalog No. 64 IXLC, 64 jet rack with long and short jets, (4) 1 ea., Catalog No. 100 IXA, 100 jet rack low (2mm Diam. jets), (5) 1 ea., Catalog No. LCD 5, 5 gallons Lancerclean Detergent, (6) 1 ea., Catalog No. LCA-5, 5 gallons Lanceracid. Delivery of the equipment shall be delivered to USDA, ARS, Forage-Animal Production Research Unit, N-220 Ag. Science North, University of Kentucky Campus, Lexington, Kentucky 40546 within 60 days after receipt of the contract. Price should reflect FOB Destination. Price will include everything identified above.
