- Description
- The USDA Forest Service intends to award a negotiated RFP to replace major components of the existing HVAC System at our Princeton, WV Forestry Sciences Laboratory. Work includes the replacement of existing air handlers and condensing units (7000-9000 cfm / 20-25 ton), replacement of existing boilers with modular boilers, new DDC control system, new VAV boxes and controls, reconfiguration and replacement of piping, pumps, ducts, etc. as necessary for efficient design and installation of new suspended acoustic ceiling panels and grid throughout The government is expecting a system, upon completion that will perform into the next decades with high operational efficiency, a minimum of down time, a high level of occupant comfort, and minimum maintenance and operation cost. NAICS is 235110; size standard 12 million. This project is between $250,000 - $500,000. Solicitation will be posted to this website www.eps.gov and is expected to be issued o/a July 30, 2003. Those contractors NOT downloading the solicitation from the website MUST request sol in writing and fax request to 610-557-4224 ATTN: P. Pierce. Bonding will be required. This project is not set-aside for small business.
