- Description
- Work shall consist of renovating the majority of the HVAC systems serving a 10,944 gsf 2-story split level office building located at 344 S. Cortez, Prescott, AZ. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and incidentals to convert all the HVAC systems to function with the same technology, gas warm air heating and electric air conditioning. Two (2) HVAC systems in the basement ends shall remain in place except for replacing their associated controls and some demolition work. Work includes demolition of the designated HVAC systems complete including equipment, ductwork, gas piping, electrical, controls, patching, closing up abandoned protrusions & touch-up painting. Work includes installing new HVAC Systems complete with new ductwork, electrical, plumbing, controls, & painting. Additionally, ceiling insulation shall be added, some attic demolition, an attic walkway installed, ceiling attic access panels extended, increase attic ventilation, and selective attic demolition. Work shall be performed without damaging existing structure?s function as an active fully functioning government office building. The building is two (2) separate buildings joined together in a third phase. Government estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid bond, performance and payment bond are required. Contract time is 120 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about July 28,2003 for viewing and printing.
