- This project consists of constructing a free-standing tool room at Building 708, Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina. The work consists of furnishing all professional services, plant, labor, equipment, materials, supervision and travel necessary to Construct Free-Standing Tool Room of 480 SF. The construction of the new tool room will be in the existing room without penetrating the existing concrete walls or ceiling. The performance period is 75 days. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate interest to the Contracting Officer, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 10 calendar days of this notices. A decision on whether this requirement will be pursued as a HUBZone small business set-aside or on an unrestricted basis will be posted to EPS within 5 calendar days after the 10 calendar days have expired. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 233310 and the size standard of $28.5 million applies. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. Release of the request for proposal (RFP) will be via the Internet only. Interested parties may download the RFP from http://www.eps.gov where it will be posted on or about 18 July 2003. No paper copies of the RFP will be issued. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative that interested parties review the website frequently for any updates or amendments.
