Description: NA A proposed sole source contract modification to Boeing Company will provide for 400 additional units of the Grenadier BRAT (GB) system. The Grenadier BRAT suite of equipment includes a transponder, hand-held terminal, UHF transmit antenna, and GPS receive antenna. The devices are generally mounted on vehicles and aircraft, although they can be man packed. The GB system uses existing non-commercial worldwide collection and dissemination architectures to provide critical data in near-real time to field com manders. The GB system is NSA approved and encrypted to the SECRET level.
