Description

THIS IS A REPLACEMENT NOTICE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. THE ORIGINAL SOLICITATION (03CRSS0019) IS BEING REPLACED BY SOLICITATION 03CRSS0034. CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE SPECIFICATIONS. The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for the main building roof replacement at the Columbia Environmental Research Center, Columbia, Missouri. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, documentation, supervision and other requirements to complete roof repairs and replacement. The contract has two requirements: 1) reconditioning of the polyurethane foam (PUF) roof on the folded plate portion of the roof, and 2) the complete removal of the existing gravel, BUR, and insulation board, preparation of the concrete roof deck and the installation of a BUR roofing system. NOTE: The flashing at this location is asbestos containing material (ACM). The period of performance will be 45 days from the notice to proceed. The estimated cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The original solicitation was issued on 6/9/2003 and the replacement solicitation can be found at the following website addresses: http://ideasec.nbc.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. A site visit was conducted on 6/19/2003 at 10:00 am CST and questions and answers from the site visit are available in Amendment 01 to the replacement solicitation. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. Telephone and e-mail requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. This acquisition will be conducted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 235610, with a size standard of $12 million. All responsible business concerns may submit a proposal. No numbered notes apply.
