Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, and equipment to perform routine scheduled curbside trash collection and disposal services at for 28 military family housing units located at Fairfield, CT. The solicitation contains a base period and two 12 month option periods to be exercised by the Government if found to be in its best interests. The options may be exercised without further notice. FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services will be included in this solicitation. NAICS 562111 Solid Waste Collection. Small Business Standard $10.5 million. The approximate solicitation release date is 28 July 2003. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only from the internet site at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format. The Acrobat Reader can be downloaded from the Adobe website. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the ESOL website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. An official Planholders List will be maintained on-line and can be printed from the web site. Questions about this solicitation MUST be submitted in writing and may be faxed to (860) 694-4565, Attn: M. SooHoo. Contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing web site www.ccr2000.com or by referring to DFARS Subpart 204.73.
