Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Detachment Washington, Washington, DC has a requirement for stenographic court reporting services to the Navy Litigation Office of the Office of the General Counsel for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract. The contractor shall furnish court reporting services, deposition rooms, transcripts, and supplies for depositions and related proceedings held in CONUS and OCONUS. This requirement will be evaluated on a best value basis. The contract will be for a base year with four one-year options, plus an option to extend services for up to an additional six (6) months under FAR 52.21. The requirement will require the offeror to furnish court reporting services, deposition rooms, transcripts, and diskettes for depositions, and related proceedings held in the continental United States and overseas by the Navy Litigation Office of the General Counsel, United States Navy. The proposed contract is being considered as a 100 percent set aside for small business concerns, as defined by FAR clause 52.219-6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. See Note (1). Interested Small Businesses should provide the contracting office as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after notice, evidence of their capability to perform the contract, and a positive statement of their eligibility as a small business. If adequate response is not received from small business concerns, the solicitation will be issued, without further notice, as Unrestricted. Therefore, replies to this notice are also requested from Large Business concerns. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME; therefore request for such a document shall be considered invalid for the purpose of determining whether the respondents have a bona fide capability to meet the stated requirements. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All responses from responsible sources will be considered.
