Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in thi s notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DAAD05-03-T-0102. Requirement is for 20’ ISO Cargo Containers for National Peacekeeping Mission to Iraq. CLIN 0001 20’ ISO Cargo Containers, NSN 8145-01-463-8553, 84 EA. New containers or containers in excellent condition are acceptable. Color: Desert Sand. Cargo Containers must be delivered on chassis to allo w for movement of the containers. This requirement is FOB Destination. ITEMS MUST BE DELIVERED NO LATER THAN 16 AUG 03. Delivery location will be New Cumberland, PA. The exact delivery address will be provided upon award. Offerors are encouraged to su bmit offers for as much of the material as they can deliver by 16 Aug 03. The Government may make multiple awards in order to obtain the required quantity by the required delivery date. Offerors are encouraged to submit alternative delivery schedules, to provide the Government with flexibility should no one offeror be able to meet the required quantities by the required delivery date. NOTE: Offerors shall bid on the listed National Stock Numbers (NSNs). The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror s--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and delivery schedule. While price is a significant factor, delivery is more important than price. A completed cop y of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contra ct Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR clauses cited in this clause are applicable: (1) 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (2) 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity; (3) 52.222-35, Affirmative Action For Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, (4) 52.222-36, Affirmative Action For Workers with Disabilities, (5) 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, (6 ) 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (May 1999). A completed copy of the provision at DFAR 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers. The clause a t DFAR 252.212-7001 applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses that apply to this acquisition: 52.247-29 FOB Origin, 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration.
