Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Marketing Service, Cotton Program intends to procure the following: Pickup of Cotton Samples from Gins and Warehouses at points shown in the specifications and the Delivery of Sacks to the U.S.D.A. AMS, Cotton Program, Dumas Classing Office at 996 Highway 65 Dumas AR 71639. For specifications and/or Questions concerning the routes or the bidding process, equipment required, or insurance requirements please call Larry Creed @ 870-382-5328. *** ROUTE NUMBER TWO (2) E CENTRAL AR WITH 13 PICKUPS. ESTIMATED 5,000 - 7,000. Sample pickup should begin around the week of September 15, 2003. *** This is a 100% small Business Set Aside using NAICS 484220 with a size standard of $21.5 Million. All offers must be signed. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE August 7, 2003, BY 10:00 A.M. local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
