- Description
- This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for an anticipated full and open competition. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for procuring, installing, maintaining, and repairing weigh-in-motion (WIM) systems at Long Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) SPS sites. On July 14, 2003, FHWA will issue a Draft Statement of Work for this procurement at www.fedbizopps.gov under this solicitation number DTFH61-03-R-00123. FHWA requests comments, questions and/or feedback on the Draft Statement of Work by COB July 31, 2003. Interested parties are encouraged to submit comments to provide feedback on the Draft Statement of Work and/or identify yourself as a potential offeror. Please submit your comments to Sarah.Tarpgaard@FHWA.DOT.GOV. The Government anticipates issuing solicitation number DTFH61-03-R-00123 in September 2003 by posting it on the website www.fedbizopps.gov. Exact proposal due date will appear in the solicitation. Estimated proposal due date is on or about 30 days from release of the solicitation, with an estimated award date of December 2003. The FHWA anticipates making one award as a result of this solicitation. The FHWA anticipates that the resulting contract will be an indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contract. The estimated period of performance is 5 years, potentially a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods. This solicitation will only be released and available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Accordingly, NO written, telephone, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it will be the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the www.fedbizopps.gov website for any solicitation amendments.
