Description
This acquisition is for the establishment of a firm fixed price requirements type contract for depot level repair of the Battle Management Center Multiplexer (BMUX) applicable to the AC-130U Gunship Aircraft. The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) is from 1 to 3 for each item. There will be 4 annual options. The BEQ for option years range from 1 to 3 for each item. Sole Source to: Eldec Corporation, Power Conversion Division, 16700 13th AVE West, Lynwood WA 98046-9727 CAGE: 08748, Authority 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
