Description

NA The Norfolk District Corps of Engineers, phone number (757) 441-7736, is offering for sale approximately 92,220 board feet of standing red pine and spruce sawtimber and 1600 tons of standing softwood pulpwood on approximately 19 acres at Barre Falls Dam, H ubbardston, Massachusetts. The total number of items for this sale is one (1). The timber to be sold may be inspected by prospective purchasers prior to the sale date. Arrangements for inspections should be made by contacting Ms. Delia Vogel, Park Ranger, Barre Falls Dam, telephone number (978) 928-4712. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., August 14, 2003, by the Acquisition, Management and Disposal Section, Real Estate Branch, Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510-1096. Then and there the bid( s) will be publicly opened and announced. Forms for use in submitting bids may be obtained from Ms. Delia Vogel, Park Ranger, Barre Falls Dam Project Office; or from the Acquisition, Management and Disposal Section, address shown above; or by emailing david.b.parson@usace.army.mil. Terms and cond itions of sale, procedure for submitting bids, and a description of the timber are contained in the bid forms. This sale will be sold by LUMP SUM.
